  • Product Description

Our rich hot cocoa blend combined with functional mushrooms makes this an ultimate hot chocolate experience that the whole family will love. We thoughtfully created this blend to include plant-based, real ingredients like organic cacao powder, organic cinnamon powder, and coconut milk powder along with three of nature’s nourishing mushrooms. Don’t worry, you (or your kids!) won’t taste the mushrooms, only the decadent and rich flavor of hot chocolate goodness.

This unique blend harnesses the benefits of some of our favorite organic mushrooms: Maitake, Reishi, and Chaga, which have historically been used to support overall wellbeing. These adaptogenic mushrooms are an added bonus to this delicious hot cocoa blend. Make some for your kids to enjoy after school or cozy up with a cup on a chilly night, ideally while enjoying the warmth of a roaring fire. It’s also a perfect coffee alternative in the morning if you are trying to consume less caffeine!

      Why You Will Love It

Mushrooms have been used for hundreds of years in Eastern medicine for their wellness supporting properties. Ease into your day or enjoy a cozy evening with nourishing superfoods like coconut milk and Aquamin along with the wisdom of Chaga, Maitake, and Reishi.

Reishi is sometimes referred to as the “Queen of Mushrooms” and has been used for thousands of years in China and Japan for overall health. Polysaccharides and beta glucans make Reishi a special mushroom.
Chaga is Laird’s favorite mushroom for a reason. This mushroom is sometimes referred to as “mushroom gold.” Chaga has been used for years to support overall wellbeing.

Maitake, aka “Dancing Mushroom” in Japanese, is another unique mushroom. It is prized for its beta glucan compounds and has traditionally been used as a medicinal mushroom.

      Directions

For best taste, add about 3-1/2 tablespoons of hot chocolate powder to 8 ounces of hot water or your favorite milk, then froth or stir until smooth and creamy.
