The Quest for the Perfect Coffee Bean

We invite you to join our founder, Laird Hamilton, for an epic journey to the Andes Mountains of Peru to meet with our farmers who produce some of the best coffee beans in the world.

The journey from bean to cup is no short ride. In early 2019 Laird planned a trip to Peru to surf the legendary Puerto Chicama waves and visit the coffee farms where we source our beans. It was an honor to meet the local farmers and witness the passion they have for their work.
Day 1 - The Adventure Begins
Laird travels to the Andes Mountains in Peru on the quest for the perfect coffee bean.
Day 2 - A Day on the Farm
Laird visits with more farmers and learns about the way their farming practices support rainforest preservation.
Day 2 - A Day on the Farm, pt. 2
Laird learns about the coffee beans' journey from coffee plant to coffee bag.
Day 4 - To the Surf
Laird and team head to Puerto Chicama to surf some of the longest waves in the world.
