      Our Swiss Water® Process uses pure water, so it's environmentally friendly, chemical-free, and still removes 99.9% of caffeine.

      Flavor Profile

      This coffee has a unique, distinguished flavor profile, unlike any other decaf. Chemical-free caffeine removal means the original flavor of the coffee bean is better preserved for a cleaner taste. The flavor is fresh and rich with bright notes and a floral aroma.  

      This HB Class bean (High Altitude Bean) is grown at an altitude of 4,000+ feet and hand-picked to ensure the ripeness of each and every coffee cherry.

      Our coffee is ground to a medium-fine to fine grind size of 960 μm - 860 μm. This grind makes this coffee perfect for pour overs, drip coffees, siphon coffee, and espresso. 

      Most caffeine removal processes use harsh, unhealthy chemicals like methylene chloride, ethyl acetate, or CO2 to extract caffeine.  

      From the first sip, you'll notice our blend is free of chemical residue or leftover CO2 that is often present in the flavor profile of other decaf coffees. 

      About our packaging: Standard coffee packaging only reduces oxygen content to 3.5%. Even with a small amount of oxygen, coffee will go stale within 2-4 weeks. That means coffee in standard packaging is often stale before it even hits store shelves.

      Our special proprietary system flushes with inert gasses to reduce oxygen content to 0%. Laird Superfood Coffee will taste fresh for six months if unopened. We go the extra mile to give you the best, freshest coffee possible.
