- Why is your product regulated by prop65? Are there really cancer causing ingredients in it?

Some of our products contain “heavy metal minerals” absorbed from the environment which the State of California requires our company (and many others) to feature the Proposition 65 warning label for food products containing lead content. While we understand the importance of this law, we respectfully disagree with its broad designation and would like our valued consumers to compare the lead content found in Laird Superfood products with other common whole foods. - Hi Karen! There's 9g of naturally occurring sugar from the freeze dried coconut water in the hydrate coconut water, and no added sugar whatsoever. We never use anything artificial or sugar substitutes in any of our products 🙌🏼
