"It's okay, but not really worth an additional $3 per bag over the plain whole bean IMO. Also, because of the mushroom coating, the beans don't slide down as easily in my bean hopper to the grinder in my auto coffee station. I have to occasionally manually push them further in towards the grinder opening. I'd rather do an adaptogen powder instead."

Love the idea. . . but

"I am used to drinking high quality organic coffee locally roasted. I really wanted to try the functional mushroom coffee but the bean quality and taste was just not up to par for me. I purchased whole beans which I hand grind and the density of the bean was off which leads me to believe the beans were old and just not worth the price or hype."

There are no brewing instructions on the 12 oz bag, what do you suggest for best preparation?
Hi there! We recommend about 4 tablespoons per 12oz of water if using traditional coffee brewing methods.
Does this coffee have more or less caffeine than Folgers?
Thank you for the question! All of our coffee blends including our K-cups have approximately 100 mg of caffeine per 10-gram serving of coffee grounds (and tastes better than Folgers, too 😉)
